I remember this place from Dan Brown’s the “Da Vinci Code”. My favorite scene is when Professor Langdon and Sophie solved the code in order to open the Cryptex. And all this was happening near the place where Isaac Newton is buried. Of course, the key word was the word - apple. This whole scene was in Westminster Abbey.
I cannot tell anything about English food in London, because I found only Italian, Indian and fast-food there. But if you are going to visit England, you may try afternoon tea. Afternoon tea, what is it? Usually the upscale restaurants offer this service. The dish "afternoon tea" includes a few glasses of champagne, three-tier plate with tasty cakes and tea, plain tea. This food will be interesting not for taste, but tradition!
